Lacking in Coordination

Some of you may have seen my video recently on the Rough Collie facebook group, where Holly let a ball that was coming straight to her hit her rather than trying to catch it. Even when she does try she is pretty unco, and usually misses. It is both hilarious and embarrassing.

Waste Not Want Not

Why do dogs like their food better when it is on the floor? Normally I make Holly's food for her (she's too fussy!) but over Christmas I was slack & bought her a large bag of dry food. I spilled some while I was feeding her one morning, and she decided to help with the clean up by eating off the floor before starting on her bowl.

Gotchya Day

Six years ago today Matt & I drove to Bankstown to pick up a little bundle of fluff. I instantly loved her, and that love has only grown more and more over the years. She cuddled up with me the whole way home. She has changed a bit over the years, has grown, gotten fluffier, changed colours, and made friends with everyone she meets, but she is still the cheeky little sweetheart she was the day we picked her up. And she still loves her Mr Frog, who is the only stuffed toy that she hasn't dissected.

 

The Fluff Problem

Tumble weeds of dog fluff! I am constantly amazed at how much of Holly's fluff can be found all over the house and our clothes. I have come to accept the fact that wherever I go, there will be a small piece of Holly with me at all times. In fluff form.

Homecoming

Matt & I recently went on vacation for a few days, so Holly stayed at her grandparents while we were gone. She was so happy to see us when we picked her up. It doesn't matter if we are gone for 10 minutes or for 3 weeks, she is always happy to see us when we get home.

The Stinker

Let's face it, dog farts are pretty bad. Holly is no exception to that fact.

Lap Dog

Holly is a little big to be a lap dog, but she just loves to snuggle with us sometimes.

Rain Rain Go Away

Every time Holly comes in after she has been out playing in the rain. Every single time.
